Nigeria Electricity Expo will take place on the 14th to 17th May 2012 at the international conference center ICC, Abuja, Nigeria. The show serves as showcase for core segments of Nigeria emerging power and energy industry.
The Nigerian Electricity Expo is highly the premier platform to gather and exchange information about strategy and technology for electric power generation and distribution.
The maiden edition of the 2012 Nigeria Electricity Expo promises to live up to its expectation as Nigeria is the largest economy in Africa with over 150 million end users of power.
Over 40,000 MWs of electricity is expected in 2020.
The present Government is doing everything in the right path to take power to the next level through public private partnership. With the vision of the power sector, the Central Bank of Nigeria CBN has set aside $10 billion per annum to enable the sector flourish with investors.
Investment of $3.5 billion annually in a bid to move power generation from the current 5000MWs to 40,000 by the year 2020
The Nigeria Electricity Expo 2012 event will attract high calibre attendees including the Nigeria Government, Stakeholders, Decision makers, Manufacturers and solution providers who currently plan to enter the highly lucrative Nigeria market.
