Schneider Electric Receives Distinguished -Partners of Choice- Award for Service from David Weekley Homes

PALATINE, Ill. – July 29, 2011 – Schneider Electric, a global specialist in energy management, today announced it has earned the prestigious “Partners of Choice” Award from David Weekley Homes, the third-largest for-profit, privately held home builder in the United States. Schneider Electric achieved a single “A” rating in service in David Weekley Homes’ leading edge evaluation system, the National Trading Partner Survey. Schneider Electric supplies Square D™ brand residential electrical distribution solutions to David Weekley Homes, including load centers, circuit breakers and surge arresters.

The “Partners of Choice” Awards are based on the David Weekley Homes’ comprehensive National Trading Partners Survey, a running quarterly review of about 150 suppliers. The survey provides a unique way to measure companies from different industries, all supporting the building industry. Nearly 500 team members from all levels within the company provide the ratings. Suppliers are rated on quality and service, and the scores for each company are averaged and ranked with all others that participate. This year only seven suppliers received the single “A” award for achieving the highest ranking in quality or service.
